How skin tightening works

Collagen production slows as we get older, which is why skin can lose firmness and show lines and wrinkles. Radio frequency treatment gently warms the deeper layers of the skin. This encourages the skin’s own collagen and elastin, helping skin look tighter and smoother over a course of treatments.

A gel is applied before treatment, and the heat is delivered to the deeper layers without damaging the surface of the skin. Many people also notice a fresher, healthier glow.

What to expect afterwards

Your skin may look a little flushed straight after treatment. This usually settles quickly, and you can normally carry on with your day. Please tell us about any skin conditions or medication before you book, as radio frequency is not suitable for everyone.
